Boquet River Theatre Festival Senior began in 2008. A few BRTF alumni didn’t want the magic to end and began asking about an “older kid” BRTF. The board thought that it was a wonderful idea and found a way to create BRTF Senior, dedicated to ages 13 to young adult.

To accommodate the work schedules of actors with day jobs BRTF Senior rehearses at night. The actors are given more responsibilities, and a longer production. With the help of their enthusiastic director the Seniors put on a full length musical in three weeks.

BRTF Senior is not just for devoted alumni, they welcome new performers each year. The cast of young adults is comprised of individuals from the surrounding area as well as those vacationing in the beautiful Adirondacks.  Auditions for the shows are held in mid-June.
